 | Andrea Duffy A 2006 inductee into The Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame, Andrea began her soccer career in 1984 as a member of The West Haven Board of Directors. She served as secretary of that club as well as South Central District Registrar until becoming State Registrar in 1991. In 1993, Andrea was elected to CJSA President, where she served for ten years. While President of CJSA, Andrea established the CJSA Inner City Program, the CJSA scholarship program for graduating high school seniors, the CJSA American Cup, the CJSA website, the CJSA Young Player Development Program (YPDP), the TOPSoccer program for athletes with disabilities, the CT State Referee Committee and Silent Sidelines Weekend.
As past president, Andrea continued to lend her vast knowledge of the sport through her involvement with The US Soccer Federation andUnited States Youth Soccer serving on the Appeals Board, US Women's Cup Tournament, Soccer Mediator, and Dean of The Soccer Learning University. |
