FIFA  Recognizes South Central Premier Soccer Club

FIFA, the international governing body of football (soccer) is committed to the development and support of the women's game.  It recognizes the importance of club football in developing the women’s game and improving its professionalization. FIFA believes that clubs offering high-performance environments for their female players should be recognized and rewarded for providing professional football pathways. With this in mind, financial rewards and recognition were paid to U.S. Soccer and other international member associations to pass on to their affiliated clubs that have helped contribute to the successful staging of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.

FIFA created the first edition of FIFA Women's World Cup Benefits Program.  Rewards were split between: a) The clubs with which the players representing the participating member associations at the final tournament were currently registered (b) The clubs that have trained these players between the ages of 12 to 22, i.e. “the formative period”.

South Central Premier Soccer Club is the recipient of a grant from the FIFA Women's World Cup Benefits Program. We are extremely proud to have been recognized for contributing to the success of FIFA Women's World Cup France as the formative training club for U.S. Women's National Team goalkeeper, Alyssa Naeher

Thank you FIFA!            Thank you Alyssa!             SCP Strong!
